Global certification announced for IoT-enabled M2M solutions
The proposed solution, which incorporates oneM2M’s current TTA-run certification programme, recognises the importance of mobile technologies in IoT-enabled M2M solutions. oneM2M certification through GCF will attempt to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
oneM2M is a global organisation intended to provide technical specifications, common use cases and architectural principles that allow machine-to-machine communications can operate effectively worldwide. oneM2M architecture is based on a common M2M service layer, to ensure interoperability between the millions of IoT devices in the field and M2M application servers.
