Cooperation with industrial robots becomes intuitive
Improved algorithms and sensor technology enable direct collaboration between humans and robots in industrial production environments.
transfer to be dangerous, the robot recognizes this and waits until the worker extends his or her hand far enough. At the heart of this human-robot interaction are intelligent algorithms and 3D cameras.

The algorithms are ready for use. At the preview of the Hanover Fair on January 24, 2019, the researchers at Fraunhofer IWU will present their development. At the Hannover Messe from April 1 to 5, 2019, they will present visitors with a demo application that can be controlled interactively by gestures (Hall 17, Stand C24).
