The COM Express Type 6 module family MSC C6B-CFLR from Avnet Integrated is positioned at the upper end of the performance range. The modules are based on the new 9th generation Intel Core processors. Avnet Integrated will be showcasing the MSC C6B-CFLR modules at the same time as Intel's 9th generation announcement, giving developers early access to the new processor technology.

The high-end module family MSC C6B-CFLR is characterised by high scalability, ranging from two cores with single threads to six cores with twelve threads. Extremely powerful variants with CPUs featuring a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 45 W/ 35 W are available for maximum utilization of computing power. A dual-core module with a TDP of the CPUs of 25 W is suitable for applications that allow only moderate cooling, e.g. low-noise cooling in medical devices. For applications requiring high reliability, some modules are available with ECC option.

Typical applications for the high-performance MSC C6B-CFLR modules include machine vision/machine learning solutions, industrial applications, monitoring technology (network video recording, NVR), medical technology and scientific instruments. The high-end boards are available at least 15 years after product launch.

The COM Express Type 6 module family MSC C6B-CFLR integrates the 9th generation Intel Core processor technology into a basic form factor of 125 x 95 mm and enables fast development of demanding applications with high computing and graphics performance. A total of ten module variants are available, the flagship integrates an Intel Xeon E-2276ME processor with six cores, 2.8/4.5 GHz and 12 MB cache.
