Mobile distributed computing company Neocortix has announced the release of Arm 64-bit support for two leading protein folding research projects that have been widely used by volunteers to support large-scale distributed COVID-19 vaccine research.
millions of systems join the program. Similarly, Rosetta@home enlists volunteers in the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) platform developed by the University of Washington’s Baker laboratory, pitting over a hundred thousand systems against SARS-CoV-2’s proteins.
