The laminated busbars of the ROLINX Hybrid series have been developed for reliable connections of battery cells in electric and hybrid vehicles. With their integrated Flex Circuit connectors, they are ideal for compact designs in SMD technology. Battery module and management system can be connected directly. The robust busbars are designed for voltages of up to 800 V DC and outputs of up to 100 kW. The straight-line design based on copper and aluminium contacts prevents wiring errors in power supply circuits. Rogers draws on decades of experience in designing and developing its solutions and offers detailed special solutions.
ROLINX PowerCircuit solutions are suitable for replacing thicker PCBs with higher current ratings. The stable copper circuits contain a robust polyimide insulation and can be processed in the wave soldering process. The solutions are designed for voltages up to 800 V DC and outputs of up to 200 kW and operate reliably in a continuous temperature range from -50°C to 125°C.
ROLINX Flex are flexible conductor rails made of pure copper laminates with protective PVC insulation. The flexible conductor rails, available in standard and custom lengths, are particularly suitable for applications that are subject to vibrations and thermal expansion and must withstand them. These include battery connections in e-mobility applications as well as in electric and hybrid vehicles, drive systems and power supplies.
Rogers has also developed its own ROLINX enclosure solutions to simplify the design and assembly of electronic equipment enclosures. These injection-moulded structures combine connectors and busbars, enabling weight-reduced power connections with low inductive resistance in application-specific housings. They are ideally suited for use in high-volume applications in the automotive and aerospace sectors and are designed for a power consumption of up to 100 kW at operating temperatures between -40°C and 125°C.
