The two companies will work together to integrate MIPS Warrior I-Class I6500 processors and NetSpeed’s Gemini network-on-chip IP. The NetSpeed IP will be used to connect multiple MIPS processor clusters and the rest of the SoC.

The Warrior I-Class I6500-F processors were originally developed for the safety and performance requirements of next-generation automotive applications. NetSpeed’s Gemini IP is a cache coherent interconnect that allows chip designers to get the most from their heterogeneous designs, providing a large amount of computing performance with little latency.

The combination of the processors and the connectivity IP will allow the analysis of large amounts of data to identify patterns, create behaviours models and the programming of the AI.
