Designed for business leaders and technical builders, the new conference – re:MARS – is an extension of the company’s “intimate” invite-only MARS conference, whose acronym stands for machine learning, automation, robotics, and space. The new AI event is scheduled this year from June 4-7 in Las Vegas.

The new event, says the company, will enable leaders and builders across industries to come together for immersive learning sessions including visionary talks, interactive workshops, technical deep dives, roundtables, hands-on demos, and more. Attendees will learn, share, and further imagine how the four fields of study – machine learning, automation, robotics, and space – will shape the future of AI.

“We’re at the beginning of a golden age of AI,” says Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO, Amazon. “Recent advancements have already led to invention that previously lived in the realm of science fiction – and we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.”

The event, says the company, will combine the latest in forward-looking science with practical applications that will initiate change in organizations today. Attendees will learn how AI can improve the customer experience, drive business efficiency, streamline operations, improve automation, reach customers through new services and interfaces, and more.

Attendees will hear from thought leaders across fields, learn about proven best practices to apply AI in their organizations today, meet with Amazon technology experts, and be immersed in breakthrough technology – from robotics demos, to the Blue Origin New Shepard crew capsule, to AI hackathons. The event will also feature sessions focusing on the practical applications of AI behind Alexa, AWS services, Amazon Go, Prime Air, Lab 126, Robotics, and more.
